Sketch of a horse — because man, I have got to get back into sketching and drawing on a regular basis, just for fun!  Freelance work is swell and all, but it’s not the same as whippin’ out messy little sketches for grins :-)

Calling all Whovians/parents/Whovian parents!  This is a kids’ design I did recently.  One shirt company has already rejected it, and before I hawk it elsewhere, I figured I should ask for the opinions of my peers.Does anyone have any constructive feedback regarding the design?  Does it make sense?  Is it funny/charming/cool?  Would you buy it for your kid? Thanks!~AK :-)

POSEIDON

[noun]

Greek mythology: one of the twelve Olympian deities of the pantheon in Greek mythology. His main domain is the ocean, and he is called the “God of the Sea”. Additionally, he is referred to as “Earth-Shaker” due to his role in causing earthquakes, and has been called the “tamer of horses”. He is usually depicted as an older male with curly hair and beard.

Poseidon is a son of Cronus and Rhea. In most accounts he is swallowed by Cronus at birth but later saved, with his other brothers and sisters, by Zeus. His consort is Amphitrite, a nymph and ancient sea-goddess.

Etymology: from Ancient Greek Ποσειδῶν (Poseidōn).

Or, as I like to think of him, Percy Jackson’s dad ^_^
